Services

I provide a range of web site design, database development and programming solutions for both other web site designers and directly to clients. I welcome projects of all sizes, whether it's resolving a specific problem you are having with a couple of pages, or developing an entire site from the ground up.


Web site development
If you require I can develop an entire site to your specifications. I'm familiar with all aspects of site design , use of CSS, JavaScript, search engine optimisation and browser compatibility issues.

ASP/VBScript programming
If you use Dreamweaver UltraDev or MX to develop web sites you will soon realise the limitations of the built in server behaviours. If you require something more advanced I can develop solutions for you that go way beyond Dreanweaver's inbuilt capabilities.

Database development
I can design and develop both Access and SQL Server databases to integrate with your web site. While Access isn't suitable for very busy web sites, it's inexpensive, readily available, simple to use and perfectly adequate for smaller sites. SQL Server is far more robust, can handle far more traffic and better suited to web applications. To further improve performance I make full use of stored procedures when developing SQL Server databases.

Cost effective
We've all been there, you've quoted for a job, but some way in you realise that the task is more complex than you originally estimated. You could struggle on, but the job might take twice as long, effectively halving your hourly rate. Alternatively you could out-source a portion of the project, my hourly rate is very reasonable and is likely to be similar to that you charge your clients, allowing you to keep your bottom line within acceptable limits.
